Enzymes vs. Acids: When to Use What
Learn the functional differences between enzymatic and chemical exfoliation, and how to layer or alternate them based on skin sensitivity, acne stage, and pigmentation risk.
Skin Prep and Barrier Assessment
Before you peel, you need to evaluate. You'll learn how to assess barrier integrity, recognize compromised skin, and prep clients to handle exfoliation without rebound inflammation.
Chemical Peel Selection by Acne Type and Skin Tone
Not all peels work the same on all skin. You'll learn how to choose formulations and strengths based on comedonal vs. inflammatory acne, skin tone, and PIH risk.
Avoiding Over-Exfoliation and PIH
The line between corrective and damaging is thin. You'll learn how to recognize early signs of over-treatment and adjust protocols before hyperpigmentation sets in.

A single facial doesn't clear acne. You'll learn how to design multi-session protocols with clear goals, progression markers, and home care integration that actually supports in-spa work.
When to Treat, When to Pause, When to Refer
